Bufo (Incilius Alvarius)

Compound

Common name for the Sonoran Desert toad, whose skin secretions contain 5-MeO-DMT along with other tryptamines. "Bufo" is often used colloquially to mean the whole experience of inhaling vaporized toad secretion, distinct from synthetic 5-MeO-DMT (see entry above).

Example: A retreat named directly after the toad — Bufo Alvarius Sanctuary in Tulum — appeared in our reporting on overseas clinic safety, offering it alongside ibogaine, hyperbaric oxygen, and kambo on a tiered package menu.
