Endpoint (Primary/Secondary)

Clinical

The specific, pre-registered measurement a clinical trial is designed to succeed or fail on. A "primary endpoint met" is the bar every Phase 3 trial in this field is ultimately judged against.

Example: This exact language ("met its primary endpoint," "missed the primary endpoint") runs through every trial we've covered in the patent series — it's the single most load-bearing phrase in psychedelic drug development reporting.
